WHAT TO DO IN CASE OF DAMAGE
Dear Insured,
No matter how and when the damage occurs, please inform us immediately in case of any damage without wasting any time.
Please note that in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions of Insurance, the insured is obliged to inform the insurer within 5 business days at the latest as soon as he/she becomes aware of the damage. It is very important that you comply with this requirement both in terms of general conditions and in terms of meeting your damage claim as soon as possible.
The information listed below will be requested from you at the damage notification stage:
Policy and agency number
Telephone number of the informant
Name, surname, trade name of the insured,
Date of damage
Estimated amount of damage
Cause of damage
Open address and telephone number of the place of expertise
E-mail address
In case of personal damage, third party information and TR Identity Number / Tax Number

If you need urgent assistance in the event of damage, please inform the claims officer. He or she will organise the necessary assistance for you immediately.
When you report your damage to us, be sure to note the file number that will be given to you. This file number will be used in all correspondence and communications. Knowing your file number in the process until the payment of your damage will provide you convenience and speed up your procedures.
Please obtain the damage documents we will request from you as soon as possible and send them with reference to your damage file number.
As soon as you become aware of the damage, you must take all measures to minimise the damage.
If an adjuster has been appointed for the determination of your damage, please follow his/her instructions completely.


Cases where the Material Damage Traffic Collision Report is not valid:
In the following cases, the report must be prepared by the traffic police:
If a vehicle is involved in the accident (if it is a one-sided material damage traffic accident)
If one of the vehicles is driven by a person under 18 years of age
If one of the drivers involved in the accident does not have a driving licence or his/her driving licence is not sufficient for the type of vehicle he/she is driving
If at least one of the vehicles does not have traffic insurance
If any of the drivers is suspected to have consumed alcohol, drugs or stimulants

If there is a suspicion regarding the mental health of the drivers
If there is a suspicion regarding the mental health of the drivers
- If one of the vehicles involved in the accident belongs to public institutions and organisations (except ambulances and emergency medical vehicles belonging to the Ministry of Health)
In such a case, police or gendarmerie forces must be called immediately and the vehicles must be kept in the same position. If one of the above conditions applies but the accident report is not prepared by the law enforcement officers, the traffic police must be informed about the incident and a report must be prepared by the traffic police officers who are in charge of the area
Issues to be Considered to Collect Damage Compensation for Electronic Devices
Theft incidents and risks of loss and forgetting to happen in the open (indoor places and public indoor places) are excluded from the coverage.
- Necessary recovery and protective measures must be taken.
Theft of portable devices from the vehicle is covered between the hours of 06.00 - 22.00, provided that the vehicle is locked and the device is in the trunk so that it cannot be seen from the outside when no one is in the vehicle. (The vehicle must be covered with sheet metal, steel, etc. hard material).
Fixed devices are included in the coverage at the specified risk address, and portable devices are included in the coverage within the borders of Republic of Turkey.
If the damaged part is not available in the market and the devices become unusable, the equivalent of the damaged part will be paid.
Damages due to electrical reasons will be indemnified if the devices in question are operated in accordance with the operating instructions and if there are integrated and necessary voltage regulating devices and alarm systems between the insured devices and electronic equipment and the mains supply in order to prevent damages arising from electrical damages and voltage changes.
Losses and damages as a result of physical damages of magnetic discs, tapes, cards and plain text forms and similar information media, consumables and information recorded in electronic data processing systems, including limited life parts (fuses, gaskets, belts, bearings, etc.) that need to be replaced as a result of wear after a certain period of use are not included in the coverage.
IN THE EVENT OF THEFT AND DAMAGES THAT MAY OCCUR DUE TO FAILURE TO TAKE NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS, THE COMPENSATION WILL BE COLLECTED FROM THE RELEVANT PERSON.
What to do in case of theft
In case of theft of notebooks, an application should be made to the nearest police station or gendarmerie and the Statement Report (the report in which our employee declares how the incident happened), the notebook brand and serial number must be stated in the report, and the Observation Report (the report in which the police officers examine the incident and state their opinions) must be obtained. The relevant reports must have "Same as the original" wet stamp and signature.
The police officer who prepares the report must see a forced entry in the vehicle or in the house. (For example; broken glass, broken lock, removal of the door lock of the house, etc.). Otherwise, no coverage will be paid due to lack of precaution.
The reports received from the police station or gendarmerie must be submitted to NEN BROKERAGE.
