MARINA OPERATORS LIABILITY INSURANCE
As a marina/boatyard operator, you may be legally liable for loss or damage to the vessel in your care, physical injury or death. This insurance provides you with protection against such liabilities and legal defence costs up to an agreed upper limit, subject to the clauses of the insurer's Marina/Boatyard Operators Liability Insurance. This insurance covers the legal liability of the insured, who operates a marina or boatyard, for damage to vessels under their care, supervision and control and for death or injury to third parties arising out of the operation of the marina or boatyard at the insured location. The Marina/Boatyard Operators Liability Insurance covers the liabilities that may arise as a result of the following risks, provided that they occur during or due to your marina operation.

Damage or loss that may occur to the marine vessel under your care, supervision and control during repair and overhaul operations, storage activities, berthing, mooring to a space or buoy, taking out of water or launching or refuelling carried out under your control and supervision
Transport of boats provided that it is limited to the limits determined by the insurer
Third party properties
Third party death or physical injury
Car parking obligation
Facility risks
